Each month, Medical Design Briefs magazine publishes a Product of the Month deemed to have exceptional technical merit and practical value for its design engineering readers. At the end of the year, readers are asked to vote for one among the 12 Products of the Month that they feel was the most significant new product introduced to the engineering community in 2017.
Sherri Trigg, Editor of Medical Design Briefs announced maxon’s Sterilizable Drive System as a winner for 2017. The product was a top vote-getter for it addressed a critical need in medical device design: sterilization and it allows manufacturers to create the next generation of effective, efficient, and safe medical products.
